When you wish upon a star.

When they say make a wish upon seeing a shooting star, they're lying to you.

It's just one of those stories people lie to you about when they want you to feel better about not getting what you want, as you please. It gives people hopes and dream, knowing that you might not get it, at least you wish for it, in hope one day you might have a glimpse of your dream.

And then after I knew the truth of not getting what I wish for, it didn't hurt me so much because after all, there are no free lunches at home, sacrifices must be made to achieve what you desire.

But sometimes, all you need is just a false hope. Because people know, and are aware that they are just mere hopes, even if it doesn't come true, they will still continue to hope for.
