I started this album back in my facebook (sorry private!) and made a compilations of all these typographies I made. I'm very very pleased with the outcome. Ahhh perhentian, still left me breathless everytime I look at the pictures.
One of the best 500 bucks I ever spent (like furrealz, my entire trip cost me about RM500 only accomodation, tickets, food etc!!) HOW CHEAP IS THAT!?
Till next time. I'll just look back at the pictures and just remember moments, be it stormy skies or mosquito bites, a moment is still part of memories.

lovefashion: thank you!! it is a paradise!! Still shock that these places still actually exist IN MY COUNTRY lol
Does it really look like that in real life, you know one has little expectations in Malaysia, but if it really does look like that, then I am sold!!!
wow that looks amazing!! where did you stay in Perhentian? totally makes me want to go for a holiday right now...
also, if you don't mind sharing, what app did you use to make the typography? i really like it! :)
anon: it looks BETTER in real life. It was just BREATHTAKING!!!! I would just stand at the top of the bridge overlooking the sea and jetty and just stone for a long while. Then dip myself in the sea for the longest time and swim in the clear TURQUOISE water. it's TURQUOISE ok like the most gorgeous colour in the world!!!!! YES these place still exist! And in our very own Malaysia!!! :D
yy: I was staying in this hotel call Coral View in Perhentian besar (there's also a perhentian kecil, more happening, more night life) besar is more chill kind. I just use photoshop to make the typography. Experiment around. :)
hello! just wondering how did you get to perhentian from kl?
Love the pictures! May I know wat typeface did u use??
christina: I went there by train (cos I was being all adventurous but never again haha) it took me 13 hours to get form KL central to Wakaf Bharu, then take a cab (they charge like RM80 per cab (split by few of us) to the jetty (bout 1.5hours ride) and then speed boat to the island itself. OR you can take a flight in to kota bharu (which I did when I came back to KL), take a cab to the jetty (which will cost about RM80 per cab (45minutes to an hour) but you buy ticket over the counter so it's more reliable/won't get con and then jetty and speed boat to the island. Hope this helps!
anon: Erm I can't remember actually, I simply downloaded fonts online and use it. Experiment around. :)
woah! super long journey with the train.:P im going back to kl in july so was thinking of an island getaway and saw ur post. the water looks so clear!!! thanks for your info - gonna check it out :)

christina: i was in the mindset to reminiscent the old times when i travel to Singapore overnight by train. Obviously the 2 by 1 metre space doesn't welcome me! LOL. GO BY FLIGHT I beg of you. THe water is TO DIE FOR! I was ooh-ing and ahhhh-ing while soaking my toes in the water =P
anon: LOVE!!! :)
