Chocolate Buttercream

Was randomly facebooking and saw Joshua's post on this yummy cupcakes!!! Decided to give it a go, bought a new whisk and new muffinpan (cause I'm moving out!!). Nothing beats a good whisk :P Instead of whisking 10 minutes for a meringue to form peaks, now it took less than 2 minutes :D hehehe sorry that's my inner Nigella Lawson speaking =P

White Cupcakes with chocolate buttercream frosting, stuffed with custard.

I really like the chocolate buttercream!! Not too much chocolate and it taste like Dutch Lady chocolate milk!! :D Or any other yummy chocolate milk. New technique to make extremely smooth cupcake batter (which is to use meringue instead of the usual eggs, milk, butter sugar mix). And I found out that it's actually really easy to make custard (with the help of corn starch of course :P). There's still room for improvement =P

Ok the last finished picture is stolen from another person's blog this is mine wtf. :P Erm... I didn't cool the cupcake before putting on the buttercream so it sorta broke/melted -_- But the taste is still there!!! =P
