If there is one thing I'll NEVER understand is how the Koreans stay so skinny yet every meal they have about 30 different side dishes, lots of rice, a lot of fatty pork belly (mmmmmm the one I had during the traditional lunch was amazing, i don't know how they prepare it but it's moist, succulent, juicy, melts in your mouth and it tasted a tad smoky, yet it's as soft as braised meat),
kimchi, soup and hell a lot of veggies. Anyone can tell me what's their secret ingredient?!

And I love their rice! It's a mixture of brown, white and black glutinous rice. I tried recreating it yesterday, I love the taste of black glutinous rice so I added equal amounts of brown rice and prolly 1 tablespoon of white rice. Tasted like black glutinous rice (not complaining I love it). Need to master the art of cooking rice in pot (not rice cooker!!)

ps: Notice the same outfit as Coco Bruni? That's cause this is my 3rd meal of the day. 1st being the meal I had before shopping. 2nd being a croissant coffee meal at PB and 3rd meal is lunch! There's also 5th and 6th meal of the day, TBC!! :P

u want to know why they are so skinny? because most of the time, especially at home they just eat rice with kimchi and some stew with only veges and tofu. that's why. more like malnutrition haha.
