I'm surprised at how often I feel that there are quite a number of people who knows me/reads my blog and my sisters' blogs recognizes us, but yet no one dares to admit. Possibly 50/50 who likes to read and another who wants to see how we "spend money". That is all what blogging is all about now no? That is what you want to see/read no? I just don't appreciate people discussing about our lives and our lifestyles. I lead a different life than many other people and so do others, what makes you think that talking about me behind my back makes you any better or different? And the worse thing is that people might actually believe it, be it true or not.

Seriously, I don't blog about it here doesn't mean that I don't know what's happening around. I don't blog about Tom falling off a scooter and Dick losing his pubes or Harry is a wizard.

Chicpop 6 last Saturday. Had a blast, almost fainted but Caramel Macchiato rescued me. Our stall looked really "pro" and thank you thank you thank you to those who came, shopped, and most importantly cleared some stuff for me (and wen and jing too) :) My insecurities found its way to camwhore, with a Kitty face :P Got that pouch from Taiwan at the Hello Kitty terminal =3

Tea at Shangri-La

my first time wearing heels after.... I dunno, a year? My nine west heels I got for $39, so worth it and so comfy. :D The tea set was pretty worth it considering we got a 50% off so came up to about RM23++ per set, complete with 3 tiers of sweets and savories YUMS!! But some of them were just meh tasting. But ambiance wise, thumbs up!! Yes tea (and dessert bar, coming up later) I'm not suppose to have cause I'm on a supposed diet but hey, I gotta sacrifice a little for family ya see.

I think I've finally made my decision on where I'm staying.

It's happening again

I'm currently on a diet. My aim is to lose jengjeng.... 20 kgs!!! HAHA From my highest weight till now, I've lost about 10kgs or so (I gained a little through out the years) and I aim to lose even more!!! :D I wanna be thin, so that clothes will hang nicely on me :) And I'll be tall and thin :D

Fuck whatever things that people say, it is not going to be easy, but it will be worth it. :)

I've lost 4 kgs so far, and I'll continue. They say the first 5 kgs is the easiest to lose, after that I'll have another 15 kgs to go. It's going to be very very hard, but I can do this. Optimism is key. :D

And as much as my parents are encouraging me to lose weight, dad offered me xenical. But I'll try to not take ANY meds, I want to do it by myself, with my willpower (and less food).

I've skipped the picture taking part cause I didn't take any pictures during my trip hahahahahaha BUT!!! I've made a clip of my trip to Hong Kong. Just random bits and pieces of the trip, but enough to feel our enjoyment.

I still believe that to truly feel the vibe, you need sight and sound. =D Oh and movements. Still pictures may speak a thousand words, a video speaks for itself :P




I've also cut the parts where we shop cause we only shopped in H&M, Lane Crawford and Zara wtf. Rest of it is too expensive LOL!!!

Unemployment

Yesterday when the TiC crew came to ask for a style shot, while filling in the form about your personal details and item description, I pondered at the occupation part for couple of seconds. First thought was to write Student but oh wait I've graduated. And I filled "Unemployed".

Pictures of my graduation. Nothing special but just pictures of me friends and family, but the ceremony somehow felt really formal, there's a sense of self accomplishment. 3 years, countless words.

1. FROYO MY LOVE. Tutti Fruitti. I love yogurt and anything cold/healthy is my friend. So froyo it is. Froyo = Frozen Yogurt. I like Tutti Fruitti's Original flavour with corn flakes. I mastered the art of dispensing froyo in a nice shape =P

2. My crystal gel nails I did in Taiwan. Approximately 30-40% cheaper. NT999 for gel nails and 2 free nail art. Then NT299 for crystal blings on all nails or selected and NT50 for nail art/drawings/3D art. Not too bad right!!?? My total came up to about NT1400 but worth every minute of it *heart* Bimbo nails cause I cannot button jeans pick up coins carry luggage even packing!! haha Mad shiny =P

3. BEEEBEEEEEEE my dog has aged. Everytime I washed my hands in the kitchen I'll peek into the window (yes there's a window in front of the sink that you can peek through a mini corridor, INSIDE the house wtf) and I thought of Choppy jumping up to get a pat =(( )

4. My new hair and meet my new "pet", Tail! :D Unknown species faux fur tail, so it's named Tail haha. And my new face wtf, Hello Kitty why am I so cute wtfwtf

The French Toast Project

As much as I hate admitting that I have a very sweet tooth, I do lovelovelovelove having sweets over savoury.

I usually prefer to kick start my day with a banana (asian bananas preferred shit this sounds damn wrong but I hope you get what I mean cause the malaysian bananas are sweeter heh) or if we're heading out I prefer to order something sweet.

And one day in Sydney we decided to head to Ampersand Cafe Bookstore, this quaint little cafe along Oxford Street towards Paddington. They sell books lots and lots of them, they too serve very good lattes. And I ordered a French toast served with poached rhubarb & lemon mascarpone.

Never turn back since. I love the slight tangy mascarpone with some orange skin shavings. The rhubarb was a tad too sour but paired with the slight sweetened french toast, it was heavenly.



the French toast itself wasn't the traditional kinda of egg dipped fried french toast, it was grilled as seen from the charred marks. Lightly brushed with honey and dust with icing sugar.


Next it was this random cafe, Brown Sugar cafe somewhere between Little Collins and Bourke Street. I ordered the french toast with caramelised apple (notice the trend, everything is damn sweet) with a side of kransky. I still love my savories cause I knew that having just a french toast wouldn't be enough :P


Maybe it's the butter that makes it more fragrant. Quit3e ordinary but love the apples. It was still slight crispy with a dash of cinnamon, caramelised to perfection :D


Next up Mart130's Vanilla mascarpone with bananas on thick sourdough served with orange zesty syrup. YUMS!!! I super love this. Not french toast but close!! They replaced it with vanilla ice cream cause they ran out of the orange zest mascarpone =(( I think that would taste way better than the ice cream. The nuts adds so much flavour to this dish, and I love bananas, and I love maple syrup and they added some orange zest in it. I'd die to go back another time just to have it one more time. D:

I find it funny how readers often think that whatever that we disclose in blogs are all revolved around our lives.


For example, I always write about things that make me very upset, they think I'm depress. Or that my sister post about her holiday/shopping escapades and that she doesn't study or that Miss X posts all her pictures of the parties she attended she's a party queen.


Let me ask a question, does a blog have to wholly reflect what a person is and let out all feelings an judgments regardless of consequences and whatever that you may insert here? No right, I don't post pictures of what I'm doing doesn't mean that I'm not doing anything or that I don't have a life. This is not accounting for when if I don't disclose something it means that I behave a certain way or that I have something to hide. DUH I do have something that I'm hiding away from people but don't you do so too?


Seriously the only person who needs a life is you!

Right now I'm experiencing the eyebrow conflict. I'm committing the biggest faux pas of all faux pas, which is having mismatch brows.

My mom suggests "Why not you ask Wen to borrow you her red lipstick and colour your brows?" hahahahahahahah


This is the suffering of not willing to have 2 red catterpillars of red dye planted on my brows in the saloon 3 days ago.


First hairwash, not as bloody as I thought it'd be. It was just, ok. But I'm afraid the next few washes, my hair will turn deng deng, orange fml.


And for haters can't you see I'm channeling my inner ah lian, my hair is RAD ok.

Anything la, is my response to Yen whenever I visit her. I let her do whatever and so far, I like what I've been getting. :P

I dyed my hair RED. The assistant hairstylist said "it won't be like the tanglung red but it'll be red". It's damn red. Oh well just in time for CNY.
